(no subject)

 It was Mr. Toad's Wild Ride to work yesterday morning.  I delayed departure until almost 7 to avoid going up Edgewood Rd. in full dark.  Edgewood has rock fences to catch falling debris but mud can slip right through; not a desirable thing to encounter suddenly.  

Today we had a small thunderstorm with hail, but the house is free of leaks and we never lost power so it is all good.

Kobe Cat returned home today.  We will miss him; he was a good house guest.  He did not want to leave.  He would not acknowledge his owner at all and he would not go in the cat carrier for her.  After all, he has been in kitty paradise for 2 weeks, with 2 devoted slaves and no toddlers chasing him.

Forecast is for more rain tomorrow.. I have done the housework and the laundry and the bills, so tomorrow I can write.
