The action begins a year after the end of "Banished"
The rating will be PG at the most.
Summary: Sirius and Harry visit Remus and Severus at the Institute.

Summary: Sirius and Harry visit Remus and Severus at the Institute.
Sirius Black brought Harry to Sedona for a visit the summer following the destruction of Voldemort. As they stepped off the platform at the Portkey terminal, Remus was waiting. After a welcoming round of hugs, he escorted them outside into a bright, hot morning. A blue pickup truck was parked across the street from the terminal.
“Check out my wheels!”
Remus was very proud of his truck, chosen with the help of Nathanial Stormcloud, who had been his driving instructor as he had been for Severus.
“Is it enchanted?” Harry asked, climbing into the back seat of the extended cab.
“No, it’s just a plain Muggle vehicle. I’ve found that magical means of transport aren’t always the best or easiest way to get around here and a pickup truck is a very useful thing to have. Before I came Severus would use an Institute vehicle, but with our combined income we decided we could afford a truck of our own.”
As Sirius slid into the passenger seat he snorted at the mention of Snape’s name. Remus sighed and rested his head on the steering wheel for a second. Taking a deep breath he turned to Sirius.
“OK, we agreed before you came that you would respect my and Severus’ relationship. That includes not being snide either in his presence or behind his back. If you cannot hold to that you might as well turn around and go back to England right now.”
Both Sirius and Harry stared wide-eyed at Remus.
“I know what you are thinking. The old Remus would let it slide to avoid any unpleasantness. That Remus is gone. Listen to me! I love Severus and he loves me. He is good man, a good friend, an excellent teacher and a dedicated and skillful researcher. If it wasn’t for him I would still be transforming in agony every month and living with the constant fear that I might infect someone else. I would be underemployed, hungry and living in a cold-water flat in some dingy London neighborhood. Look at me! I am free of my curse and healthy. I have a great job as an assistant professor in the Potions Research department. Severus and I have moved into our own house on campus. I am happy, and it is all because of Severus Snape. Can you accept that, and treat him with respect, or not? If not, I am putting you on the next portkey out; Severus does not deserve to be treated badly, by you or anyone else.”
Harry spoke first. “Professor Snape saved me from the prophecy. By destroying Voldemort, even if it was accidental like he said, he kept me from having to battle him. The last year at Hogwarts has been the best of my life. I’ve been able to concentrate on my classes and I haven’t had to worry about old moldy Voldy. I am very grateful and I promise I will never be rude to Snape again; not like I was in school.”
Remus and Harry both looked at Sirius, who wilted under their combined glare. “Okay, okay, I will admit that Snape has turned out to be a better person than I thought possible. I am happy for you Remus, really I am, and I promise that I will be on my best behavior.
“I will hold you to that Sirius, and if not, you’ll be back here so fast your head will spin.”
With that Remus started the truck and headed for home.

Yes, you did indeed make me cry. I cried again on its second read-through as well.
Oh, but to make it up to me, I really would like more of that last image we had of Severus...in leather, braids etc...
